A Wrap on 2025

It was a big year in the Cypert-Worley household! From buying a house to getting married and taking several trips of a lifetime, Justin and I have a lot to be thankful for as we reflect on our last 12 months.

Justin and I got married, went on our honeymoon to Disney World, and closed on our house!

March 2025

Justin and I started a garden, helped fundraise for the OSU Theatre Dept., and I made a trip to the State Capitol.

The OKC Thunder head to the playoffs, we celebrate my 28th birthday, and attend some political fundraisers and events.

July 2025

More conferences! I head to the University of North Texas in Denton, attend the Young Democrats of America Convention in Philadelphia, and help represent our state at a national level as a delegate.

August 2025

It’s education time! I celebrate the kickoff of two graduate programs, teach my first-ever UNIV 1111 course, go to the Payne County Fair, and celebrate my mother and mother-in-law’s birthdays.

September 2025

Life always has some speedbumps - someone backed into our car and didn’t leave a note! Grad School also kicks into high gear, and I feel thankful for the opportunity to continue learning.

October 2025

Justin and I march for the future at the 2025 Homecoming parade, Justin is featured in The Canada Globe and Mail, and we take the trip of a lifetime to Europe! London, Paris, and Frankfurt are already calling our names to come back.

November 2025

More fundraising, advocacy, and life events. We put up Christmas lights on our new home and celebrate the new sectional sofa we purchased!

December 2025

Thunder game #2! We hit up OKC, shop for Christmas gifts for friends and family, and take our final flight of the year to southeastern Texas to visit Justin’s mom and stepdad and ring in the new year.

Additionally - I’m an extra in a movie!? Hollywood came to town to film a movie about family, love, and perseverance, and I got to be in it. Keep an eye out for a release in the Fall of 2026!

Cheers, everyone! Here is to a happy, successful, and memorable 2026.
